General Heating and Air Conditioning has completed a significant number of projects involving both new construction and renovation of existing health care facilities.
We know the importance of a well-engineered and installed HVAC system for the proper performance of health care service facilities. We understand the requirements of working in these highly demanding environments and our focus remains on the importance of safety and our relationships with other contractors on site. For improvements to existing facilities, we also concentrate on efforts to ensure the continued ability to provide all essential services during construction. We take special pride in our projects in the health care sector. These projects require sensitivity to proper site management and contamination control in all phases of the work. Just as we are proud of the quality of our workmanship, we also value the strength of our communication with hospital maintenance and administrative staff. At General, we work very hard to establish long-term and mutually beneficial relationships of trust, value, and service with our customers.
The scope of our work in these areas is reflected in the following sample list of hospital and clinic facilities we have worked in over the past several years. It is important to note that we have completed multiple projects at many of these sites and that many projects were design-assist in nature:
- Baldwin Area Medical Center
- Columbus Hospital
- UnityPoint Health – Meriter Hospital
- Riverview Medical Center
- St. Mary’s Hospital
- VA Hospital
- UW Rehabilitation Hospital
- UW Hospital and Clinics
